  • Original signed passport must be valid for 6 months from the date you plan to depart Portugal.
  • Visas and stamps should be affixed to the blank pages of the passport. 
  • Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not acceptable for visa issuance.
  •  If the passport does not meet this requirement, the applicant must renew a passport or obtain a new one.
  • Passport must contain sufficient blank visa pages for visa stamp.
  • Portugal visa application form that is signed and completely filled. 
  • Portugal's business visa is issued to foreigners coming for commercial and trade activities, such as attending trade fairs, visiting clients and factories, negotiating with clients, and signing contracts.
  • A completed typewritten application form with a recently-taken colour photo glued to or stapled on.
  • Proof of legal stay or residence if you are applying from a third country.
  • Portugal Business Visa Invitation Letter issued by a Portuguese business or trade partner is required.
  • Invitation letter or confirmation letter of invitation issued by duly authorized Portuguese institutes or relevant units.
  • Portugal invitation letter for the business visa should also indicate the applicant’s information including full name, birth date, passport number, information about the intended business visit, including purpose, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, and information about the inviter including name, contact number, address, signature, and official stamp.
  • Letter from host, sponsor or company to be visited in Portugal stating responsibility for applicant’ financial means in Portugal.
  • The applicant must provide a copy of round trip airline confirmation indicating the dates of entry and exit from Portugal.

Business Visa from Equatorial Guinea to Portugal Requirements

  • An original passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond the required stay in Portugal.
  • The passport must have at least 3 empty pages for visa stamp
  • A signed application form that is correctly filled is required.
  • No column of the visa form should be left blank or incomplete.
  • The application form should be filled with a black or blue pen.
  • Applications filled out with pencils will not be accepted.
  • Two recently taken passport photograph in colour with white background is required.
  • The passport photographs should be taken within the last three months.
  • Black and white photos and photos printed on paper will not be accepted.
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay by submitting a copy of the original bank statement of the last 6 months.
  • Confirmed return/onward ticket back to Equatorial Guinea is required.
  • All documents should be submitted at the embassy of Portugal.
  • Applicants should provide vaccination against yellow fever certificates.
  • Travel itinerary showing details of the applicant's activities in Portugal.
